Ans>On Diwali day Both NSE and BSE permit trading for a limited time typically the session is divided into 

 

Block deal session: - where two parties agree to buy and sell at a fixed price

Pre Opened Session:-where the stock exchange determines the equilibrium price

Normal Market Session: - The One-hour trading session where most trading takes place 

Call auction session: - where illiquid securities are traded 

Closing Price: - where Traders/sellers can place a market order at the closing price

  • All Open Position At the end of the trading session will result in a settlement obligation
